How usual a girl is Miley Cyrus? So usual that she has to sneak into her own concert.

In the opening series of Hannah Montana: The Movie, Miley tricks her way into an ring, slides backstage, and puts on her blonde wig, makeup, and a spangly minidress to transform herself into that alterna-bubblegum rock chick and Pia Zadora look-identical, Hannah Montana.

As Miley Cyrus band pumps out those freeze-dried Avril Lavigne power chords, she exhorts the throng with a lyric that could be her mantra: ''Everybody can rock out like a big superstar!''

It's the halfway-sly vanity of Hannah Montana: The Movie that Miley, who speaks about Hannah as if she were different person, has become addicted to her modify ego (with the emphasis on ego).

Miley indispensability identity detox, which can happen only if she gets back to her ordinary country girl roots by spending a couple weeks in her little hometown of Crowley Meadow, Tenn.

The Real Lesson...

Miley Cyrus, as usual, is a professional enchanter(it is difficult to oppose, when she leads a hip-hop hoedown), and the crusty folkiness of Billy Ray Cyrus as her real life father is as welcome as ever.

But there is an tremendously long stretch of country living harmlessness, before the fate beckons, and Miley has to become Hannah once again so that she can lead a benefit concert to save the town from an evil developer.

The top lesson of the movie is that celebrity looks easy but is difficult.

The real lesson, as usual, is that since even Miley has to work extremely to ''be'' Hannah, each girl in the public — if she tries hard sufficiently — can become the superstar she longs to be.
